It's possible to mark the seat for free 48 hours before the flight. But you can also purchase it in advance. It's a way to increase your chances of securing the place you like before someone else selects it.

No, children of this age do not need to mark a seat. Because they travel on the lap of the responsible adult, in a single seat on the aircraft.

Some people cannot occupy these seats for safety reasons. Because the seats are located at strategic exits of the aircraft and those sitting there may have to perform some emergency action during the flight. Check out some examples:
- Minors up to 15 years old (accompanied or not by an adult);
- Pregnant women;
- Adult with a lap child;
- Physically (wheelchair users, blind, deaf, etc.) or mentally disabled;
- Medical cases (sick, customers with MEDIF and/or FREMEC);
- Elderly (person from 60 years old);
- Obese;
- Customers with animals (PETC, guide dog);
- Any passenger who is responsible for another, even if this other is not at the emergency exit.
Safety comes first, right? If any of these people are in these seats, our crew can place them in a new seat, away from the emergency exit.
In these cases, you need to mark the seats directly with the company responsible for your trip. For this, access the partner's website or app. You can also choose at their service counter at the airport.
Remember: as it is a partner airline, there may be different marking rules and rates from Azul. Check the values when choosing your seat.
